Why a bath? Does the why matter?
it’s a capsule thinking space. Alone in the warm water to share your thoughts, thinking back
A kind of thanks to solitude.
And compared to any other time of day, it’s completely strange
To sit or lie submerged in now tepid water
Not resembling our normal breathing space, but held in the weightiness and dense mass that clings to skin, and lingers even after not encased by it.
Air doesn’t do this does it? Maybe slightly,
when you first sit underwater and pearly beads of pockets clutter against your skin.
